Paleocraft

Sean Cooper is offering for sale his excellent sculptures of prehistoric mammals. That's right, mammals! There is lots of other interesting things on his site as well. Check out his "Mechanosaurs"

Mike Keesey's Herculean website has lots of information on dinosaurs, and a huge art gallery.

Dinosaur art & modeling

John Rafert has created the premier site for great dinosaur sculptures and artwork. You could spend hours on this one. I have!

USGS Agate fossil beds

A fantastic site all about the extinct mammalian fauna of Agate Springs Nebraska, that lived during the Miocene epoch. We need more prehistoric mammal sites like this one!

Oceans of Kansas

Mike Everhart has created An excellent educational website all about the marine fauna that inhabited the epicontinental sea which covered the mid-western united states  during the late Cretaceous. Lots of great artwork and skeleton photographs.

An excellent website all about the latest discoveries and happenings in paleontology

Russian paleontological institute

This site has some excellent information on the Permian Tetrapod fauna of Asia. Including Therapsids, Parieasaurs and a lot of other cool extinct critters. Lots of good photographs.

The Pterosaur database

Extensive bibliography by authors, list of specimens in U.K. museums, pterosaurs by geological age, support in identifying specimens, enquiries and schools pages

Evolution of whales

Hans Thewissen's comprehensive website about the evolutionary history of whales. With pages about individual species such as Ambulocetus, Basilosaurus and many others.

Paleocene mammals of the world

The Paleocene is a crucial time in the history mammals. Unfortunately, mammal fossils from this epoch are either scarce or entirely unknown in many parts of the world. An excellent mammal website by Martin Jehle.

Devonian times

The Tetrapods have landed! This site has some good information on the lost inhabitants of the Red Hill formation of central Pennsylvania.

Thylacoleo Remembrance

A web site which details the discovery and natural history of Thylacoleo, an Australian marsupial of the Pleistocene Epoch. Includes detailed information and many good photographs of thylacoleonid fossils.

Human Evolution

Explore humanity's passage from early ape species such as Ardipithecus ramidus, various bipedal apes (Australopithecus species), the tool using Homo habilis, Neanderthals and modern man.

Animal Anatomy and Physiology

A page full of links about many aspects of animal anatomy and function.

 

Paleobotany Links

Lots of links with information on all aspects of paleobotany, much of it very technical but understandable.

 

Chinese Paleontology Papers

Will Downs has translated many technical Chinese paleontology papers that you can download as a PDF file. Most of the papers are on fossil mammals.

Cave Bears and Humans-the war for habitation
